I especially like to celebrate Mother’s Day.  When I look at my kids and how they have grown, I realize what an important job I have.  I enjoyed this beautiful Mother’s Day video tribute at www.1ngod.com, and wanted to share it with other mom’s.

This is a new social networking site.  I’ve been on Facebook (FB) for a little while and have found a lot of my friends I lost track of from High School.  After joining this site, I find that I like it a lot better.  It has a family-friendly atmosphere, and it seems you can do more on this one.  I have posted photos easily, I also have a favorite video from YouTube on my page.  There’s an area to blog and you can leave comments and photos on your friends pages.  I am also able to have this blog attached to my page.  There are various applications you can add to your page as well, but it’s all positive content, no reference to drinking or gambling.  My kids (the twins) each have a page as well as some of their friends, and it’s nice that I don’t have to worry about what they might see or come across.  I personally have been shocked by some of the applications that FB has. 

My sister-in-law lives in California and she’s on 1ngod, and we have really been able to connect with her more, we probably talk with her everyday now.  I look forward to seeing this community grow, meet new people and stay in touch with my family.  If you are looking for a more family-friendly social network, check it out at www.1ngod.com and stop by my page and say Hi!!
